PAM SCHUMACHER GATTEN

Welcome to what probably should be called “My Art Archive.” After retiring, my aim is to make time to learn to watercolor and produce artwork outside of classrooms.

I discovered a love of drawing and painting in a senior high school art class, even though I grew up with a mom who was an artist. She fearlessly mastered any medium successfully.

I make art because occasionally the end image makes me smile. It’s as if someone else did the work. So, my original pieces of art aren’t for sale, but I’d be happy to make a print of a piece that might make you smile.

So, browse, wander, and view what I’ve loved doing with paper, pencils, ink, pastels, and paint. My art isn’t a statement about life, but a glimpse of what I see around me.
